This edition published by Frederick Warne from 1903 onwards and I put this edition at about that time. Beautifully illustrated throughout by Kate Greenaway and executed in full colour wood cuts by Edmund Evans, who worked a lot with both Greenaway and Walter Crane. Illustrations typical Victorian and Greenaway. 48 pages, full colour illustrations on 38 pages - most of these full page. Size: 25.5 x 22 cm. Condition: Dust Jacket: Several chips and tears - repaired with archival tape. Binding: Decorative end papers present, no problems. Interior: Clean and bright, no problems. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
