London Cresset Press Limited, The 1927 First Edition Hardcover Very Good Juliet Wigan 
This book contains very stylised Art Deco inspired chromolithographs - 21 full and half page. They are used to illustrate an interesting collection of traditional and ancient British songs, such as James MacDonald, The Drunken Sailor, Greensleeves and Gently Johnnie My Jingalo. There are 20 songs in total that have been arranged for the piano. The text is presented in beautiful calligraphy by Margaret Shipton. No date in the book, but dated from the British Library copy. Inserted publisher's note regarding 'The Drunken Sailor' is still present on page 22. Specific condition: Binding: Spine is sunned and slightly worn top and bottom and general marks commensurate with age. Personal inscription on ffep. Interior: Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
