The sunbonnet babies are sweet little characters, Molly and May in this book, characterised by their large sunbonnets that completely cover their faces so that all you ever see is the hats. Nicely illustrated, on most pages, with black line illustrations delicately coloured in a pink, blue, yellow and green palette. Beige cloth covered boards with green, yellow and pink / red illustration to upper board and green with yellow titling to backstrip. Nicely decorated end papers featuring songs by W. H. Neidlinger [front song - Greeting and rear song - Good By. Inside a selection of stories written in verse and another song with words and music by Neidlinger. 105pp. 23x17 cm. Boards grubby. Corners, top/tail bumped, two corners worn. A couple of marks inside and one short closed tear.
