Contains a few illustrations and photographs. First published in 1896 and revised and reprinted many times since then and I believe still being reprinted. Personal inscription on dedication page. Tan cloth covers with blue lettering to upper board and backstrip. End papers made up of temperature and measurement information. 824 pp. 200x135 mm. Corners & top/tail bumped with short splits at edges of top/tail of backstrip. Grubby boards. Clean contents.
