Contains 16 full colour tissue guarded plates, all by René Bull, as well as over 75 other black and white illustrations within the text and some truly wonderful vignettes. Red cloth covered boards with gilt titling and decoration. Illustrated end pages. 203 pp. 28x22 cm. Top edge gilt. Backstrip quite bumped and starting to split along edge. Corners worn, edges rubbed. Some marks to the boards. Interior very good - clean and fresh with no foxing. Please note that this is a very heavy book and postage outside of Europe may require an additional postage charge.
