Very fine illustrations. Presented with the full text of The Winter's Tale and seven pages of notes from Armfield on how he tackled the illustrations and the challenges. Very interesting and nicely presented. Maroon cloth binding with gilt titling to upper board and backstrip. 28x22 cm. 99 pp. Backstrip slightly sunned. Some brown spotting which is mainly confined to the prelims and the rear few unprinted pages.
