| On the 22 May The Little Book Store is featured in the Guardian newspaper's special supplement on Vintage and Antique Collectibles. Following on from this article, here are some suggestions for starting a book collection of: |
| Ernest Nister books..... beautiful chromolithograph illustrations, some with movable elements or pop-ups, made for children over 100 years ago |

Pop-up and Movable books.... a very collectible genre that can be a joy to find. Consider a collection from a particular series, such as the British Bookano books, or a particular illustrator / paper engineer, such as the Czech Vojtech Kubašta. |
| Or perhaps you would like a collection that you can start for a reasonable price now, but one that could increase in value for the future. Pop-up books from the last 20 years can still be found and could well be such an investment. David Pelham and Robert Sabuda are good names to look out for and good condition books from Intervisual. |
